Today we'll take a look at Owen Davey's Night Knight. I love the title of this book. I love the general concept of this book. The main character is wearing a colander on his head as his helmet, for Pete's sake! But for whatever reason, the book fell flat for me though. It may have been how visually dark the illustrations are, each page in the same color scheme. I'm not sure. Do I think lots of kiddos, boys especially, will enjoy this book? Sure. Is it among my favorites? Sadly, no. But, as always, you be the judge! Buy it by clicking the image or check it out from your local library!
