The Blurb

Meet Claude. He is no ordinary dog--he leads an extraordinary life! Each day when his owners leave for work, Claude decides what adventure he will have. What will happen today?
Claude and his best friend, Sir Bobblysock, go to the Snowy Mountains to swish down the powdery slopes. When their winter wonderland threatens to avalanche, Claude must come to the rescue.

The Blurb

In the third installment of Claude's hilarious adventures, Claude and Sir Bobblysock pack their bags and go on vacation to the beach. They rescue a man from a shark, win a sandcastle-bulding competition, and hunt for pirate treasure. Of course, they make it back home just before Mr. and Mrs. Shineyshoes come in from work.

My Two Cents

Claude is super cute.  He has a kind of retro 60's vibe, and is just really adorable.  While the story is pleasant (especially in Claude on the Slopes), it isn't the story I love--it's the illustrations.  The color scheme is simple and the lines just scream with retro fun!  I think we will see many more Claude books because the pictures are addicting, the storylines are simple, and, or course, he's a dog in underwear with a sock as his BFF!

I was also THRILLED to find these awesome printables to color with my kiddies:
