Book Haul

Just a peek at a few of the books I received this week...can't wait to read them all!!

Billy Kinsey is an heir to a lottery fortune, but that doesn't make him happy.  His twin sister died and his parents fight all the time.  When Twom Twomey and Gretchen Quinn come onto the scene, Billy's life changes.  He has decisions to make it and he doesn't trust his own happiness.  . Amazon says, "The Tragic Age, will teach you to learn to love, trust and truly be alive in an absurd world."

This seems like a great coming of age novel (which I adore) and I'm always interested in male, teen POV.

The Ship-Shape Shop
by Frank Rodgers
published by Hungry Horse

Salty’s junk shop is Janet, Sam and Granny’s favourite shop. But snooty Mrs Grimbly-Whyte wants it torn down!  Granny's motto is "never say die" and she is determined to come up with a plan to save Salty's!

This book is from a publisher I'm unfamiliar with, so I'm anxious to read this book and see more from them.

I love Korie Robertson!  Can't wait to begin this devotional with my kids...
