Wolfie the Bunny

The Blurb

The Bunny family has adopted a son.  And somehow, big sister Dot is the only one who realizes that he may just eat them up!

My Two Cents

I am in love yet again.  Ame Dyckman continues to write fabulous picture books...and I continue to fall in love.  Wolfie the Bunny is a new favorite.  Its premise is hilarious, but what really got me is how well the sibling relationship is captured.  It is really lovely.

And there is no need to rave about the ridiculously talented Zachariah OHora...but I will anyway! The art in this book is so fun.  In his artist's note, he explains that he based the bunny home on his old garden-level apartment, and it just made me love that sentimental genius even more.

This is good stuff, people.  Buy it immediately.
