This weekend my little family made a quick jaunt to Austin, TX and saw some of our favorite friends. We did a lot of talking and hanging out...and they took us to the oldest swimming hole in Texas: Deep Eddy! The water comes straight from the Colorado River and is muy frio, y'all!
We loved swimming, but I was so distracted by the wall around it. It is covered in the most amazing mosaic by local artists--including kids. It is beautiful from afar, but as you get closer and see the little messages written on the tiles it becomes even more lovely. You should definitely venture over if you have the good fortune to visit Austin!
