It has additional inserts including illustrations for the books of the Bible and the Lord's Prayer--there are 8 full color pages in total. They are fun and informative for growing minds with lots of questions about what they are reading. And I have long been a fan of the NIrV version of the Bible, which is an easy reader version for kids from about 6-10. It is at a good level for independent reading.
This cute Bible is perfect for gifting or for family devotions!
