I'm fascinated by Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)...I've always found the celebration so interesting. I love reading books with my kids about other cultures and other beliefs to help them better understand our world. It's no surprise that I've blogged about books on this subject before! There's just one problem with that list, though: I had not read Clatter Bash yet!!!
Clatter Bash is a fantastic picture book about Dia de los Muertos that even the smallest readers will enjoy. The text is fantastic, from word choice to rhyme. And onomatopoeia is used all over the place! It captures both the reverence and the celebration of Dia de los Muertos.
