YA Book Review: Dead to Me

I couldn't wait to read this title.  This premise is interesting, and takes you back to a more glamorous time--but then you realize it wasn't all that glamorous.  There are dinner parties, cocktail parties, and Hollywood good looks everywhere, but at what cost?

Alice hasn't seen her big sister, Annie, in years.  And in those years, Alice has shut down, becoming more aloof and separate from friends.  So when a comatose Annie turns up at the local hospital, Alice doesn't know where to turn or who to trust.  All she knows is that she is her sister's advocate and she has to find out who did this to her.

This story reels you in.  Initially, I thought it was middle grade, but I would say it is definitely suited to a more mature audience.
