Faithgirlz books are so fun--I have many favorites, including their Big Book of Quizzes and their Riley Mae series. And I have loved Natalie Grant for years, y'all. Years! She is an amazing musician and has a heart for people that amazes me. She is one of those moms that is hands on despite her fame and I am in awe that she does all that she does--and now she has written a book! For real. To top it all off, super-mom's book is adorable. If you follow Natalie on social media, it is easy to see that her fun characters, Mia, Maddie, and LuLu, are based on her own precious daughters. It is no wonder that she is able to beautifully develop these characters and show their personalities so clearly. I mean, look at these cute girls:

The plot is cute and fast paced--one I believe younger middle grade readers will enjoy. And the focus on art is a homeschooling mama's dream. This is a perfect work of fiction to accompany a little art history lesson. The book focuses primarily on Renoir's Moulin Huet Bay, Gurnsey, but many other famous works are mentioned as well.
