The World Champion of Staying Awake

I so enjoyed reading The World Champion of Staying Awake by Sean Taylor.  It has delightful illustrations by Jimmy Liao--that Cherry Pig is beyond adorable! 

The text is both prose and poetry, interwoven.  The styles are indicative of what is reality and what is make believe.  I just adored the flow.
