I had heard so much about this book! It was all the buzz and there was talk of awards...
And, really, who wouldn't want to read a book with a jacket blurbs like this:
Anyway, I read it. It is great. The illustrations are fabulous (everything you would expect from Caldecott Honor illustrator, Peter Brown!) It is all green and gray serious tones, except that wild Mr. Tiger, of course! From the angular artwork to the expert precision of words to the overall excellent concept of nonconformity, this book was truly enjoyable. I have read it several times and loved it a bit more with each read.
A Cybils winner, you will do yourself a disservice if you don't read it!
