The Story of King Jesus
by Ben Irwin
illustrated by Nick Lee
published by David C. Cook
This is a picture book recounting the gospel in one single story. It packs a ton of information into a forward moving text that keeps little ones focused and engaged.
I read this book and loved it. The illustrations are lovely and remind me some of the lovely pictures in The Jesus Storybook Bible. And the story is wonderful too--it is written by Ben Irwin, who also wrote The Story. As we enter into Holy Week, I would encourage you to share this gem with your children. It is such a simple depiction of the fallen world and the savior who came to rescue and restore.
My Two Cents
